This roofing innovation saves you money initially, and then continues to provide savings for the life of the roof

Your largest initial savings come from eliminating the need for tear-off and disposal of most old roofs. Polyurethane foam roofing is applied directly to your existing roof, which has been specially prepared. Because the old roof stays on, right away you save removal costs.

Installation is quicker with no tear off, keeping labor costs down. Home and business owners appreciate the lack of disruption and noise compared with roof removal. Plus, foam requires no metal flashing to be installed in places the roof meets the building (we sometimes do some specialized caulking, if needed). There’s no pounding to install the metal pieces, and you’re not paying for that extra requirement.

Only a few steps to your new roof:

  • Your existing roof is cleaned
  • An inch to an inch-and-a-half or more of foam is applied
  • A base coat, then a top coat is applied to the new surface.

A long-lasting roof with lasting savings: Our polyurethane foam and coating roofing comes with a ten to twelve year warranty, and of course, it’s longer-lasting than that. If your goal is to delay roof replacement, you’ve really made that a future expense you can budget and plan for. If you’ve chosen it as a “green” upgrade, the years of service ensure the roof will be in place long enough to “pay you back” in utility savings.

About the energy-efficiency

  • Polyurethane foam roofing results in seamless, top-grade insulation of your home or business. It has a 6.2 R-value per inch, and with our coatings are 85% reflectivity, which means it deflects so much of the sun’s energy that it can pay for itself in four to seven years in lowered cooling costs. It also “holds in” heat loss in winter, reducing heating expense.
  • Our product, from BASF and Conlklin, are ENERGY STAR rated, which gives you the potential of claiming tax benefits for retro-fitting energy efficiency into your roof.

It is virtually leak-proof

It’s seamless. A standard single-ply roof has hundreds of feet of seams and hundreds of fasteners. Both can leak. But with no fasteners and no breaks in the coating, there is no place for water to get through polyurethane foam roofing.

Another plus: the sprayed coating cures to what’s called “closed cell form”. If, for instance, a branch in a storm punctures the coating and foam, any leakage remains localized, and is easily fixed.

Other significant features

  • If hail or a falling branch damages your polyurethane foam roofing, it is easily repaired and restored to its seamless look and leak-resistant form.
  • Foam is lightweight, so it generally does not exceed the load capacity of your structure. In fact, it adds tensile strength to your structure.
  • It’s a great “look” for home or business. We can even add granules to the top coat, giving your roof a textured look similar to asphalt tile.
  • It will stop condensatin from forming on the underside of your roof!
