• We call it MR because that’s exactly what happens when you invest in metal roof coatings. It makes sense to take steps to restore the metal and ensure its longevity before applying a coating.

Three important steps that refurbish the metal BEFORE coating:

1. If your roof is rusty, we power wash using a rust remover, or a specially designed cleaner.
2. Then we treat the clean metal with an exceptional product that stops oxidation from developing again.
3. All of the metal screws are tightened and caulked as a further precaution against leaks and rust. There are hundreds of screws in any one roof. EVERY ONE is treated prior to applying metal roof coatings.

Next, we take care of seams in three essential steps

The seams of metal roofs are leaks waiting to happen. So we:

1. Spray our base coat on every seam. There are hundreds of yards of seams on a metal roof. No length is overlooked.
2. Next a fabric sealer is applied to the seams. At this point in the process you can clearly see the protection that’s being built right into the roof in preparation for metal roof coatings.
3. Another base coat goes on the seams before the fabric sealer dries, to increase the bond between sealer and coat.

Finally, the top coat is evenly sprayed over the entire surface
